The Kansas Open Records Act is a series of laws designed to guarantee that the public has access to public records of government bodies at all levels in Kansas. The act defines public records as any records that are created or kept in public agencies and that pertain to the workings of the government. You may submit your public information request by filling out a form at City Hall. You may also submit your request in any written form, including letter, email, or fax to any City Hall employee. Please note that for a public information request to be valid, it must be submitted in writing to City Hall & must be specific as to the information that you are wanting.
